Impact Ecosystem Event in Luxembourg

On 24 September 2018, the Luxembourg Microfinance Development Fund, Ville de Luxembourg and TIIME co-organized the 2nd edition of the 'Impact Ecosystem Event'.

Building on the successful event celebrating Luxembourg’s Impact Ecosystem last summer, Luxembourg Microfinance and Development Fund (LMDF) in partnership with the Ville de Luxembourg (VdL) once again turned the spotlight on where business/finance converges with social/environmental.

The triple bottom line of People, Planet, Profit is driving new dimensions of value creation. There is a growing movement of impact finance and social business in Luxembourg, driving both financial and non-financial returns – benefitting investors, customers, employees and greater society.

On stage, we had pitches from Social Entrepreneurs, Cooperatives and even Banks helping us to understand how their respective projects/activities can have a positive impact on the people and/or the planet.

On the side, a line up of impact experts sharing their reactions.

We only hope this kind of event will inspire citizens to question their bankers when asking for new investment products or help them think about new ways of investing - with the objective: let's make this planet a better place for all.
